There are situations in which you may need to convert MS Word documents into standard HTML files, so that you can publish them online or show them to people who don't have Word installed on their computers. In order to do this, you could use the MS Word feature for saving them as webpages, but unfortunately, this feature may not always produce best results.

A much better solution for saving all your documents as HTML files is to use the DocToHtml application. This Windows program allows you to convert several documents at the same time into HTML files, which can be opened using any web browser or can be easily uploaded to a web server. In order to use the application, you need to have MS Word installed on your computer, otherwise the conversion process will not work.

After the program is installed and launched, the user will first need to select the desired documents or the folder which contains the documents. At this point, DocToHtml will automatically import all the Word files from the chosen folder into its interface. After having added the desired Word documents, the user will need to configure some parameters and settings regarding the conversion process.

The user can configure separate settings for each imported document or for all of them. After configuring the settings, the conversion process can begin. After the documents are converted, DocToHtml will automatically open the resulting files in the system default web browser.
